My photographic work will be seen in two exhibitions in San Jose, Costa Rica, this spring, both curated by Rolando Castellon. People, Places, Things: 5 California Photographers will first be seen at Dardo costado Este de la Casa Amarilla, San Jose, Costa Rica, and will then move to the new photography gallery at the Museo de Arte y Diseño Contemporáneo. The exhibition opens at the Museo on April 3, 2008. The photographs are rural California landscapes taken with plastic-lens "toy" cameras. The negatives were digitally scanned and printed onto Epson Velvet paper. They range in size from 24 x 24" to 36 x 36". .............................................................................................. Bay Area Annual Sanchez Art Center, Pacifica, CA October 19 - November 17, 2007 Rene de Guzman gave the following piece a Juror's Award in this show.
